Comptoir du Nylon, Brussels, 2004.
It was summer. Even in the Rue Sainte-Catherine. Some people went on vacation but others couldn't. Those who went away were invited to send a postcard to the Comptoir du Nylon. Gradually, the cards appeared in the window, hung like drying laundry, for the enjoyment of neighbors and passers-by.
Sound was an integral part of the project, with interviews about vacations recorded in the neighborhood and broadcasted through the mail slot of the Comptoir.
