Drawing, left (East/West): A Belgian-Armenian pianist goes from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Ramallah, West Bank, to give concerts and piano lessons at the Conservatory of Music. She also goes to visit Jerusalem, 10 miles away, through the Qalandia checkpoint, as well as to Nablus, in the north (green line).

Drawing, right (West/East): A Palestinian goes from Yatta, West Bank, to Tel Aviv, Israel, without a permit to work on a construction site for three weeks. If arrested, he can be sent to jail and get a big fine (red line).
